All of my new armrests will now include my custom curved-edge version with a softer edge. If you typically rest your arm on the edge of your body, you know it's sharp and can cause pain. If you can relate, you'll love my new custom curve armrest. The armrest edges are hand-sanded and shaped to eliminate the 90° angle, creating a soft curve. Because the top of the mandolin is the soundboard, it needs to vibrate freely to produce rich, resonant sound. And since mandolins are small, every bit of surface area counts.
